Privacy Notice

This page explains what information shrinkverify.com collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us through the form, we use it to reply to you, and we don’t sell it or use it for advertising.
shrinkverify.com is run by Shrink Software LLC, Grand Rapids, Michigan (“we” or “us”). This notice covers this website only.
What we collect
What you send us. If you use the form, we receive your name, email address, organization (if you give one) and whatever you write in the message box. Please don’t include anything confidential you wouldn’t want in an ordinary business email.
What any website receives. When you visit, the company that hosts the site keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising tags or tracking pixels.
Why we use it
- To reply to you.
- To learn where the problem described on this site matters most, which helps us decide what to build.
- To keep the site running and secure.
We won’t add you to a mailing list because you used the form.
Who else handles it
We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. Two service providers handle some of it on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts the website and stores form submissions for us.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces the page uses. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address and browser details, as it would for any site using Google Fonts. Google’s own privacy policy covers what it does with that.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this notice would continue to apply to it.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions, and any email conversation that follows, for up to two years after our last contact with you, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information you sent us, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@shrinksoftware.com with “Privacy” in the subject line and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it’s you before acting on the request.
“Do Not Track” signals
Because this site doesn’t track visitors across sites or over time, it doesn’t change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. No third party is allowed to collect that kind of information about you through this site.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to form submissions is limited to the people at Shrink Software who need them to reply. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
